2025 APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Now taking applications for our 2025 LAR Scholarships. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 25, 2025
1. Criteria for eligibility
A. Applicants must be immediate* family members of a REALTOR® in good standing.
*Immediate family members of REALTOR® members include sons, daughters, stepchildren, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren.
B. Eligible students must either be:
• A high school graduate of the class of 2025 enrolled in an accredited college or university and plans to attend as an undergraduate student in the Fall of 2025. Proof of enrollment will be required.
• A student currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in an accredited college or university and plans to continue attending as an undergraduate in the Fall of 2025.
• A student currently enrolled as a graduate student in an accredited university and plans to continue attending in the Fall of 2025.
C. Students must be in good academic standing.
D. For High school students applying, a current official academic high school transcript must be provided. An official academic college transcript must be provided for college or university students applying.
E. Scholarship Application Instructions
To apply for the scholarship, eligible participants must complete the application form accurately and in full. In addition, applicants must submit a one-page essay that meets the following formatting requirements:
● Font: Times New Roman
● Font Size: 12-point
● Spacing: Single-spaced
● Margins: 1-inch on all sides
● Length: Maximum of one page
● File Format: PDF or Word document
● No identifying information (such as name, school, or contact info) should appear anywhere on the essay
Important: Any essay that includes identifying information will be automatically disqualified to ensure a fair and anonymous review process.
Please ensure all documents are submitted by the deadline and follow the guidelines carefully for full consideration.
F. Only complete applications received with an essay by the deadline will be considered.
G. Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status, handicap, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
H. If awarded the scholarship, Scholarship Recipient Requirements:
● All scholarship recipients will be required to read their essay during the awards ceremony.
● While attendance at the scholarship presentation is strongly encouraged, we understand that certain circumstances may prevent in-person attendance. In such cases, recipients must submit a video recording of themselves reading their essay no later than two days prior to the event for inclusion in the program.
● Recordings must be made in presentable, professional attire and suitable for public presentation during the ceremony.

Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 6:00pm at Falcon Bank Event Center.
